•Halls Falls & Anchor Stamper
Halls Falls is a small but beautiful waterfall in Tasmania’s northeast corner. This may not possess the well-known reputation of waterfalls like Russell Falls, however, the locals will tell you this hidden gem is a must-see when in northeast Tasmania. The calm beauty, peaceful and lush forest surroundings and lack of crowds make Halls Falls a memorable attraction.

The Blue Tier is home to a wide variety of walk and mountain bike experiences. Steeped in a fascinating mining history, you can discovery the remains of heritage sites dotted across these mountains.
The walks are numerous, experience the mountain forests or climb up to the sub-alpine boulder landscapes and soak up the spectacular mountain top views.

•Weldborough, Mt Paris Dam
Turn off opposite the Hotel, follow the 13km drive until you see a small low sign marked Mt Paris Dam. Follow this Road, park in the parking bay & walk about 100 mtrs to find the Cascade River, looking upwards in awe at this unique concrete structure now surrounded by wilderness. Construction of the dam began in 1935 & was completed less than a year later! It was built completely by hand. A hole was blasted through in 1985 to allow the natural river flow of the Cascade River to occur again.
